Assessment
Homework
Frequency: About 30 minutes of homework per class period.
Purpose: practice with materials, prepare for the next class period, or conduct application of class content.
Complete: If a student knows that there is an issue with completing homework one night, she must come speak with me prior to the next class for extension
Projects
3 day window for submission.
A project will be accepted the day after the due date but points will be deducted for late submission.
Electronic work must be turned in via Google Apps through Notre Dame accounts. If extensions are needed, students must come see the teacher
Tests and Quizzes
Makeups: must be made up immediately upon return to school when one day is missed. (If a student misses two days, the test must be made up two days later.) If more than two days are missed due to school absences in the course of a week, the student must make arrangements with the teacher for makeup work and test makeup.
Retakes: Tests can be retaken if the grade is lower than a 80%.
